Tutorial: How to activate links on Windows Live Messenger 2009 (720p HD)

This is how to re-activate the links on Windows Live Messenger 2009. 1. You first need to download an editor to alter a msn file. It’s called XVI32. 2. Exit from WLM 2009 and make sure it’s not running in the “Task Manager” “Processes”. 3. Open the program you downloaded and with it open the file msnmgr.exe , locate in C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger 4. In the menu bar, click on “search” & “find”, and look for hotlinks. 5. Once it finds the word, you need to change the h for another letter, I chose the b. So it should look like botlinks 6. Save the msnmgr.exe file you just modified. 7. Open MSN 2009 again. Now enjoy :). Note: UAC needs to be turned off so you can save the changes properly.
