Hi, my summer vacation just started and i need some stuff to do. I have absolutely nothing to do, no camp or anything. So I was thinking that I should start an awesome project that is actually useful rather than just watching TV and sleeping all day. It would also be great to have some cool activity or day trip ideas. I am interested in countryside activities, the outdoors, room design, arts and crafts, creative writing, movie making, dog training, and building things like forts and furniture. Also feel free to post ideas that have nothing to do with those things. I hate cities and museums, and I do have transportation. I like to do out of the ordinary things, and again would love to take on a huge time consuming project. Thank you so much.

Why don’t you try making a quilt. You can use bright funky, furry, or satiny fabrics. Maybe even denim. It would be a really cute throw or bedspread.

You could also try geocaching, volunteering, or just going on a lot of hikes.

Another idea would be to put together a movie with some friends. You could write the script, sew the costumes, and build the sets. You could even set it in a forest.

You could also make clothing, scarves, or blankets for people in need.
