Using Song Vegas Movie Studio how can you consistantly Pan still image to create motion in slideshows?
Question by comicgal: Using Song Vegas Movie Studio how can you consistantly Pan still image to create motion in slideshows?
I’m making a picture movie with Song Vegas Movie Studio and for some reason I can’t consistantly use the panning to create a zoom and motion look in my video. I click and drag the tiny box at the corner of the picture and slowly drag it zoom in but it just crops the picture 99 percent of the time !!
Urrrggghhh!!! I’m like pulling my hair out I’m so frustrated!!! I’ve read the online help around 20 times now and I’m still stuck. Is there something I’m missing??
Please help!! I really wanna zoom in and create some cool motion in my picture movie.
Thank you !!!

Just to disclaimer this answer: I use the pro version of Vegas, so I’m not sure that this works with movie studio, but I would think that it would. I believe you are using the event pan/crop to create your effects. If so, you need to specify keyframes on the event pan/crop timeline. Take a peek at this tutorial and make note of the “understanding keyframes” section.
