Purchasing Gold for World of Warcraft is a great way to get the items you want and when you want them. The economy in World of Warcraft is pretty solid, so the gold has real value.
Going to the movies, do you go behind the counter and make your own popcorn? Pour your own drinks? No, you go to the movies to relax and be entertained. You want to spend your money and be treated. You already have done the 9-5 routine during the week or slammed through volumes of books about dead historical figures. It is time to have fun and relax.

1) Time

Tick Tock Tick Tock… we are not all teenagers and/or living with our parents. Nor are we all rich and do not need to work. Many of us have full time jobs and families to support, so how much time are you willing to spend to get the weapons and gear you need? Can you go to every single raid your guild does? Even if they do one every night lasting 4-5 hours?

If you are short on time and you do not get to play as much as you would like then perhaps purchasing gold is for you.

What if you have plenty of time to play but you do not wish to do hours upon hours of dungeon crawling or resource collecting? Perhaps your idea of fun is hunting in Battlegrounds? This is a game isn’t it? It is not a full time job and you do not even get a watch or a toaster for the hours you put in to this one.

2) Boredom

Have you ever gone out and actually collected

resources to use in a trade skill item or collected them to sell on the Auction House? Can anything in this game be more mind numbing boring and tedious?

How does it work? Go out into the zone, find the resource and then harvest the resource. Yay, you just spent 10 minutes and you got 2 items out of a stack of 20. Sure you could go sell that right now, but players like to buy in stacks of 20. So, go forth young man and pick some more flowers or mine some ores.

What else could you be going? Oh yeah, questing, battlegrounds or raiding. What do they call that? I think the words are “Having fun”.

3) Competition

So you found those resources and so did a few other guys…

The Competition for items can be avoided by purchasing your gold, instead you can either find the item on the auction house, look for something similar or simply look for

something that another player can make for you.

The choices are left in your hands instead of leaving it to chance. Sure you can go out and earn the gold, but then what happens? Are the items still for sale? Are the prices higher now?
You do not have to worry about camping a certain area hoping that a nice epic item drops in 1 out of 10,000 kills and competing for it with the guy next to you. Would it not be easier to simply pay the price and have your item?

4) Mount Money and Spells

When you reach level 40, unless you are a warlock or a paladin, you are going to spend a good deal of money on your mount. A mount in

World of Warcraft is not so much a status item as it is sincerely needed. When you trying to meet up with friends to raid or hunt the fastest way between point A and point B is going to be a straight line. Running through some of these tough zones in this game does not allow you head right out there. You will get attacked by almost anything on the way there. If you are on foot you will have to fight your way there. Now how much time is lost?

Having a reliable source of gold allows you to make purchases that not only benefit your character that you play, but also the characters in your parties, raids and guild. You are stronger, faster or smarter allowing you to fight longer, fight harder and this means less downtime and faster gains on your levels.

If time is important to you then purchasing gold is the wisest move you could make. From time lost to hunting

resources, to time lost meeting up with your friends and guild buddies.
What about simply being a Warlock? Have you seen how much spells cost for yourself? Then add on top of this the various books to increase your pet’s abilities. The gold will allow you to purchase your abilities and skills when you attain your levels and you do not have to worry about picking them up later on.

5) In conclusion

From Skills, Armor, Weapons, Recipes, Componants, Trade Skill Items, Enchantments and Mounts, money moves fast in this game. Grab yourself a stack of gold and just go play. Stop sitting around and wasting time gathering and hunting for something that may or may not eventually drop for you.

You pay to be entertained and if you are not having fun gathering and farming for items to sell and you can afford it, then perhaps buying gold is right for you.
