why does it take a movie (like twilight) to come out and THEN werewolves and vampires become popular again?

so dont come in here an go omg i love him or hes sexy cuz hes NOT and that movie is so stupid and annoying and so are all you fag fans…no i havent seen the movie and no i havent read the books and i dont plan on it an never will…

ive liked vampires and werewolves (also anthros aka half human half beast species) since early childhood. hearing about these creatures in books and seeing them in movies (like The Lost Boys and Van Helsing) was fun to do. yes The Lost Boys did get crazy fans and made vampires popular agian like twilight but why didnt van helsing? van helsing was a good movie and was based off of the old books and not someones lusty fantasies or something related on that topic.
Vampires were so cool when i was a kid growing up but now thanks to twilight vampires are popular but not for the right reasons…i pretty much learned growing up that you were to RESPECT and FEAR vampires. NOT fall in love with them…and whats up with this whole thing of drinking animal blood?
twilight is just bad for vampires all around, please some make another vampire movie adn one that doesnt suck!
when i see twilight stuff all around everywhere you go its like seeing a part of me and my childhood destroyed…and whats even worse is that their making tv series based of that non sense now too…oh gawd make it stop…
