I think Blade was a cool movie but I would have changed a few things to make it even better. Instead of merely having the humans with fangs I would have had them mutate in a way that makes them very distinct from humans. I also would put way more scenes of vampires attacking humans cuz there wasn’t enough of that going on. I also would have let Blade express more concern for the humans he is supposed to protect and I would have made Frost a much scarier villian cuz although he wsa evil he wasn’t scary. He looked to much like a human and didn’t use really drastic techniques to force Blade out of his comfort zone. Yeah he took Jensen and had Whister bitten but it just could have been more emotional I think. Like if he had bit that girl or taken her captive instead of tossing her into the street that would have upped the drama. Plus the vampires looked too much like their human prey. That was okay for blending in, but it wasn’t mass hysteria in the human world cuz no one knew about them. I think a scene with news reporters talking about mass anemia cases would have fit well into the plot of the film to balance out all the fast action scenes.
