first man zombie flicks have been done to death my man ,.. so its hard to be original in how does it start ? you know how do we come to the place were there are Zombies all over the place? A new Virus ? a new student/ Alien.?. all of these have been done so many times i dont like the genre itself .. How about doing something were the town is cursed and anyone who happens to Die comes back // its not very much original . but its better ..
Now youve got an idea yes ? so what happens in your story .. first set up charector development whos your star // give them personality .. who is this person .. he isnt just a jock / cheerleader … he/she/isnt just a nerd are they ? . give them subtle personalities so everyone can identify with the star .. .. do this for every charactor the more they are on screen the more i need to hate them love them misunderstand them .. etc etc .. the more i need to feel something for the actor
thats all basics though .. now you want a pitch yes ..

How about you start with your star waking up going through there normal routine and then going to school .. this gives you a chance to set up development .. mabye he stubs his toe? .. does he laugh ? does he scream in pain .. does he cry ? does he fight with his parents .. is he living with his parents even .. you know have fun here .. etc etc .. DEVELOP THEM ,,
so this person is at school .. and theres somekind of confrontation . this person is killed.. mabye a freak accident .. a crazy highschool shooter right .
so he/she goes through this whole thing .. ands up dead and comes back .. .. now why does he come back .. what is the curse .. Again you could have fun with this part 2 ..
I do have a very nice idea though specifically for this .. Classical music .. Opera Bach .. Nothing conteparary . itll give it a timeless vibe ,, meaning people will like it just as much as that music .. you know .. my advice is when in doubt rely on Images . not dialouge .. trust me
right in the middle of all the action boom crazyness . you have a shot of the place its happening .. everything outside is Quiet calm .. .. alot of jump cuts . (Pulp FIction) (Perfect BLue) they use jump cuts Perfectly
take inspiration from every style of movie you can .. GOod luck .
