Question by Frenchy: Wesley Snipes was convicted, sentenced and appeal denied. When is he going to jail?
The guy was convicted, sentenced and his appeal was denied. Why was he permitted to post bond and allowed to run free. He did not pay his taxes. Now he is out making a new movie, making more money, and paying no taxes. It looks like Obama stepped in like he did with the New Black Panthers. We should all stop paying taxes.

After you are convicted, there is normally a Pre-Sentence Investigation ordered. After that is done, the next step is to give the person a date to report to jail. They normally give you some time to take care of personal affairs.
That amount of time depends on how good of an argument your attorney makes. My guess is they entered some type of deal to use the proceeds from the new movie to pay his back taxes.
