I am going to write a research paper on how digital cameras are slowly changing the way movies are made, and why it is taking so long to overtake the expensive and time consuming process of making movies with film.

1 – Film is much better quality.
2 – People know film, and people stick to what they know.
3 – the workflow with film has been made so efficient, that when you consider the advantages it had (1) over digital, directors just prefer it.
4 – Although digital is easier, every time you export it or mess with it you lose quality. With film, you don’t.
5 – it’s harder to steal film than it is data.
