What do I use to make movies on my computer?

Question by Me: What do I use to make movies on my computer?
I am trying to make an animated movie on my computer. I have a mac, and I was wondering what application I could use to make this movie. Could somebody please send me the link to download something that would let me do that? Oh, and please do not send me the link to download avidemux, because I have that on my computer right now and have been unsuccessful while trying to make my movie. Please help!

Well, I was going to say, that if you have Windows, then you could use Windows Movie Maker, but since you have a Mac, I am 90% sure that it comes with a movie making program. But I looked on the internet and….
Mac apparently comes with something called:\
iMovie, so search on your computer for that.
