What do you have to do to get a script for a TV show sold to a major TV network, like ABC, Comedy Central, etc.?
Question by an aspired artist: What do you have to do to get a script for a TV show sold to a major TV network, like ABC, Comedy Central, etc.?
My brother and I have a brilliant idea for a TV show and we want to sell it to a major television network. Well my brother wants to direct, and I want to do the cast call, but we really want to make it big on The Network. What do we have to do to make it happen, who do we have to go to? (We don’t know anyone in productions, or TV.) I’m not going to disclose any information about the show because I don’t want our idea to get stolen, but it is a comedy. Please help, Thankyou. (Oh, we’re very young I’m 15, and he’s 23)

You have to arrange a meeting with the production agents, and send your script to them. If they like it, they will give you a call.
Remember, there are millions of people who think they have the next big thing, but very few actually do.
And you will need a lot of money to persuade them to let you cast and direct it.
In fact, enough money to hire the actors yourself.
Also, try to get some of your mates or a local theatre group to act some scenes for you and film them to send with the script.
It’s also a good way to see for yourself what the final product may look like.
