Question by Jennifer09xx: What does the directors of a movie have to go through to get it ready for show?
I am doing a speech on film making and I was wondering what the process of film making was. If you can give a very detailed answer, I would thank you forever.

The speech to Satan is pretty important……OK kidding.
A director must have Vision and be able to pull all the scenes together from paper to finished film…..For example reading the words on a script is only part of the equation.
A director must read the words and have some idea of what locations will be used….If shooting in a house how do you fade into the next scene?
Do you just appear there or did you set yourself up for the walk off for the next scene.
I think it is easy er to be a writer /Director because you should have some idea of all the setup’s for the next location
and how to smoothly get there.
He also has final say of what the shot is going to look like when finished. often telling people where to stand and how to act, and what the finished product will look like.
The star’s and Director are usually who the people talk about if the movie comes out horrible…so in a way the director is the Boss of the movie set….and the fall guy if he doesn’t capture the scene right.
