Question by classicc: What hardware would I need to make home movies on an Apple mac?
I have Final Cut Express & Adobe Premiere software. I also have a Sony DCR-TRV140E camcorder & 2 external hard-drives @ 250g that were given to me.
Any help would be helpful.
Thanks
Thanks for your answers. I do have a mac & played around with it a bit ,but I should put I am a newbie to all of this. I have googled tutorails for Final Cut Express & cannot find a decent one that can help me create decent text & how to go about compressing & burning to dvd.

well first you’re going to need a mac… Sony’s website says that you’ll need to download the drivers to extract the video and it’ll dump it onto your computer, but being a mac.. might not even be an issue. Then on a mac… drag the raw video to Final Cut E… from there you can chop, add effects and export it to a DVD or blueray disc if you have the burner…
