What is an inexpensive way to save all of your home videos?
Question by : What is an inexpensive way to save all of your home videos?
At the end of each year, I try to edit most of my home videos and make a little movie with my movie-making software and that’s great to have on dvd and obviously easier to watch when you’re sitting down with your family, reminiscing on those fun times. But I also want to store my home vidoes (in data form) separately. But because videos take up so much more space than still pictures on flashdrives, DVDs, etc…. That starts to get really costly to keep buying large capacity flashdrives month after month, year after year. Does anyone know of a better/inexpensive way? I have one of those video cameras with a built-in hard drive. I don’t need a dvd or mini-disc to to take a video. The videos can be stored on my camera up to a certain amount… So as of now, it’s almost reached it’s capacity and I don’t want to just erase it all to make room for future videos. I would really like to save it to something else that’s safe. Any suggestions?

The cheapest way is to save them on dvd’s or store them virtually somewhere, or just buy a cheap external hard drive and save them there.
