I am starting my show and soon to be music videos/ movies and I’m planning to get the best and latest computer around.

Many people have told me to get a Macbook Pro which they say has a great imovie maker.

I was wondering if they are any other BETTER laptops with better special effects.

I was also wondering what is the best camera to create movies. A good price is excellet quality.

If you want iMovie, you need a Mac computer to run it. Otherwise, most other Video Editing software run on a Windows PC.

As for hardware configuration on a Desktop or Laptop would go something like this:
Processor Configuration: Dual Core
Processor Clock Rate: minimum 2.5 GHz
Hard Drive Size: 320GB (recommended)
RAM or ‘memory’ : 4GB #
Monitor Screen Resolution : minimum 1024×768

# if you want over 4GB of RAM, make sure to buy the 64bit version of Windows. If you find Laptops which come with onboard 4GB RAM expensive, go ignore the RAM specification, and upgrade or add more RAM after buying the Computer. Upgrading RAM on a Laptop wont void the Warranty.
