What Is The Best Sad Movie You Have Ever Seen?

Question by Scooby Doo: What Is The Best Sad Movie You Have Ever Seen?
I saw The Green Mile tonight and it was absolutely beautiful. The twist in The Sixth Sense maybe makes it a contender. The Lion King was incredible, but was mainly a happy movie, other than, of course, when Mufassa dies. I think that One Flew Over Cuckoo’s Nest has to get my vote though, it was possibly the most touching movie I’ve ever seen, I was close to tears which I have never been at a movie before.

*Please don’t say The Notebook or Titanic

*you mean what is the saddest movie? lol
ahh yes the green mile, i love that one!
i cried so much when the black guy was willing to die in the electric chair, even though he wasn’t guilty of raping and murdering the two little white girls 🙁 damn it was soooo sad, he was such a good man, a healer, 🙂

no, the sixth sense is more of a scary movie but its funny

aww yes i cried when mufassa died too

i haven’t seen “One Flew Over Cuckoo’s Nest” but i’ve been hearing from a lot of people that it is good and sad.

ok, i won’t say the notebook even though it was sad and romantic. ehh, titanic wasn’t sad, but i know a lot of people who said they were streaming tears.

the saddest movie i have ever seen in my 17 years of living and seeing so many movies was “THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PAJAMAS”. i recommend it, i cried through the entire movie, literally! from beginning to end, non-stop.:( i don’t want to kill it for you but the nazis were horrible people and the end of this movie has a crazy twist, really unexpected. after i finished watching the movie, i kept crying for another half hour. i feel so bad for the jews, they were real good people, they were only used as a scapegoat for germany’s economic problems. no one should be attacked for their morals or religion. :'(

another sad movie is AN AMERICAN CRIME starring the actress Ellen Page and actor James Franco. it is based on a true story. real sad movie on the abuse and murder of a young teenage girl. i cried at the end when the girl was saying life is like a carrousel and she is riding on it. :[

i cried at the end of MARLEY & ME. the doggie dies :'(

i want to see the new movie that came out, PRECIOUS, it looks real sad. i think i’ma cry when i end up watching it.
