Question by jezabella: what is the job title for people who put together movie soundtracks?
ive always wondered who makes movie soundtracks. not the score but the compilation cd’s. they always have interesting, obscure music & i always thought that would be a really cool job. But what job is it? How does someone go about getting into that field?

sometimes it’s the writer or director who chooses the music.
other times, i’m not sure if there is one person who’s job it is to pick the songs.
sounds like a lot of fun though!
