would anyone tell me what the folder is and how i may use it with Active directory, please?

It’s the place for scripts than run when a network user logs in. The scripts are batch (.BAT) files. You can have them do things like connect users’ network drives (their S: drive to a folder on the network called Shared, for example) and get the current time from the server.
In Active Directory, you set it up on the user’s Profile tab. The “Logon script” window is where you specify which particular script to use to set up that user when they log on to the network.
