What kind of job has you making those athletic summary videos….?

Question by overcast!: What kind of job has you making those athletic summary videos….?
Those movies that you would see during the olympics or another sports event where it has many short clips of athletes doing really sweet things and in the background there is cool intense music that fits it perfectly. What kind of career /job would be the person making those? What kind of education would land me a job like that? And is there a lot of competition in that field? Thanks!

My nephew makes sports documentaries & has 2 Emmys.
He went to Syracuse University’s SI Newhouse School of Public Communications & majored in TV production.

NYU also has a good school for movie making

Yes, there’s lots of competition, he worked as a PA first..you have to pay your dues. Then he got a job that sold programs to HBO.

Now he’s doing a baseball series for Fox sports & working on his own stuff. Raising money an be an issue.
