I have a really good script that I wrote but I would like to try filming it myself.
I need a camera but dont know which kind to get; HDD, DVD, mini D, digital 8, vhs…
there are so many to choose from. I would like my movie to look as good as it can. any tips?

I’m afraid pro style movies and low budget are mutually exclusive. I assume by low budget you mean what one person of limited means can do. Actually, most of the costs associated with producing movies is in the editing and post production phases. If your script is truly good, you need to pitch it to people who invest in movies and entertainment ventures. Most of these people are located either in Los Angeles or New York, however you might find someone in your area who would be interested in investing. Even low budget involves a considerable amount of money.
