Okay, I’ve been wanting to make a short film for a long time. But every time I come up with a good idea, I discover it will either be to hard to do, or costs too much to make. Yes, I am aware that it takes a lot of hard work to make a movie, but what type of thing should I do to make the movie entertaining, yet cheap. Keep it simple, like genres or something. And dont say romance, cause I will never be able to make something like that! Please help

Budget filmmaking and creativity go hand-in-hand. If you can’t muster up enough creativity to come up with even a premise for a movie, then what happens when you need to innovate further in order to fit your shoestring budget?
But to answer your question, make a movie about the persuit of making a budget movie. Don’t call it American Movie, though.
