What’s wrong in making a new movie in black and white?
Question by Buddha Name: What’s wrong in making a new movie in black and white?
What’s wrong in making a horror or action film in black and white. B W looks so nostalgic and the best story telling medium when comparing today’s high digital HD stuff.
Why are not people using it nowdays ? Do you think it would be a mis match if i use that film for my new project work ?

I can’t agree with you more about B&W films. One great example of a more recent (relatively) movie using B&W would be Schindlers List (although it did have splashes of color). I think a lot of people feel B&W = cheap and/or old fashioned filmmaking. However I personally think more intelligent or emotional movies can benefit from the mood of B&W. Simply put, if the film’s good, and the B&W color scheme suits the mood and/or content of the film, it’s an excellent choice.
