Question by Clever Nickname: When they’re making bad movies, do they think it’s a good idea?
ie: Nicholas Cage kicking the crap out of women in Wickerman. To you and me this sounds like a horrible idea which will either be stupid or funny, but in a horror movie that’s bad.
Was there some point in the design process where the creators thought “You know what would be cool? Nicholas Cage punching out a middle-aged lesbian.” ..? Or were they trying to be stupid on purpose, and to what end?

Sometimes a movie may sound better on script than it really turns out on screen.
But sometimes it is just bad acting or bad directing.
