do you get all the money??.. I was reading the kind-of unknown Matt Damon and Ben Affleck sold their Good Will Hunting script for over $ 600,000 (and the company wasn’t even sure it was going to get made). Does that mean the company just handed over 600 thousand dollars to them? If so, that’s unbelievable.

i’m sure its like any other large money transactions, its wired into their bank accounts then they pay the taxes for it
