Where do i start if i want to make a movie?

Question by Rissy<3: Where do i start if i want to make a movie?
I really want to make a home movie but like a full length one. I want it to be just like another movie at the theaters. I know i have to make a script and everything and get people to be in it, but then what do i do? The camera i will be using is very small. Is it really necessary to buy a bigger one? And will i need software? like editing software? Please help!

You need a script
You need a cast
You need a place to shoot
A small camera is going to look bad, you need a big expensive camera to make it look good.

Yes, you will need editing software. You’ll have multiple takes of the same scene. You have to be able to cut and splice scenes together.
