Where to start with making flash movies and games?

Question by Bored: Where to start with making flash movies and games?
I would like to start making flash movies and games to build on my programming knowledge and put some of my ideas in a simple form on the internet to see what others think, but I am unsure where is a good point to start from. Anything I need first or helpful hints?

A copy of Flash would be an ideal beginning. There are a galaxy of tutorials available for flash, try a google search.
