Why are filmmakers so addicted with making sequels?
Question by Ryan: Why are filmmakers so addicted with making sequels?
I’m guessing it is all about money? It seems like they could make more money by actually making an original, good movie rather than making a crappy sequel. It seems like every movie that comes out gets a sequel if it does somewhat decent in the box office. There isn’t a time when I drive by a cinema movie list that doesn’t have two’s and three’s behind several movie titles.
