Why can’t I combine clips using windows movie player?

Question by sam f: Why can’t I combine clips using windows movie player?
I am making a movie for school and i recorded the whole thing on one video. I needed to cut some parts out so i split them and removed the part i didn’t want. Now i need to know how to combine all the clips together because it is choppy in between each clip.
