Why do movie producers try to make us believe that doing ninja backflips away from machine gun fire works?
Question by Athavulf: Why do movie producers try to make us believe that doing ninja backflips away from machine gun fire works?
Honestly, if you were doing a series of backflips in a straight line away from a straight line of machine gun fire, you would get riddled with reality. Why do I see this silly evasive technique in so many “martial arts” movies? Why does it always seem to work? Why do they try to make us believe in this crazy evasive move? Wouldn’t it just make more sense to strafe towards some kind of cover?
Philosophy behind it!! I KNOW it’s the movies, Captain(s) Obvious. I’m asking about this specific “technique”.
