Why do people think its ok to make a profit off of a national tragedy like 9/11? ( i.e movie studios)?

Question by lotus_art1230: Why do people think its ok to make a profit off of a national tragedy like 9/11? ( i.e movie studios)?
I seem to think that all the time and money that is spent on making a movie about 9/11 could go to the families, or spend time counseling them. Why is it that big movie studios think that this is a good idea? Am I wrong? I am open to new ideas, and opinions.

Why shouldn’t they? The government has been, and they helped plan and execute it.
