Question by mary.tuthill: why do the people who protect us like policemen make so little yet movie stars make millions? what can we do?
I have been to jail and it was not fun, (just to let you know im not a cop!) but what seems to be grap is that movie stars and sports players make millions! where is the justice in that?? I have met a lot of policemen and some not so nice but they all risk their lives for us all and yet they get paid less and some have to hold down second jobs! WHY? why do we sit by and let this go on? what can we do?? the same can be said about fire fighters!! Why do we let people who just entertain us make millions and the ones who deserve to make the money are treated like what they do is not worth paying them for!!! Who can I go to get this changed? Or do we all just sit back and keep letting this happen?? I want to change this! Movie stars go overseas to entertain our troops like its a big deal, what about the ones who protect us here???

Because we live in society revolving around capitalism.
People enjoy being entertained. They will pay to be entertained, and the more people pay to be entertained the more the entertainers get paid.
Thats just how it works.
