i heard that they ran out of money for the movie and people couldnt agree on a script for the movie, but why dont they just ask the public which script they would like and use that one?

and for the money problem, you know that this movie will make millions and millions of dollars, so they are obviously gonna make more money for it than it will COST to make. anyone else just want them to make it already?

Actually, there is no guaranteed that a Halo movie would make a lot of money. In fact, the vast majority of video game adaptations have been far from successful at the box office. The only ones that have really been hits are the first Tomb Raider and the first Pokemon movie. And in the case of Pokemon, it probably had more to do with the cards than the video game.

This simple fact is that video games to not translate into a widely marketable movie. Especially when you’re talking about a first person shooter game that would have to be an R rated movie. I just don’t think the financial incentive exists to put the money into a movie and make it right. The budget the concept justifies would make for a low budget movie.
