The spelling bee is far more established, meaningful and iconic to our culture. The spelling bee receives far more publicity and benefits from a national television contract with Disney owned networks.

Cuz spelling bees are gay. They challenge you to spell words with missing letters or sounds of letters that aren’t there at all. How stupid is that? Also, LG has sponsors willing to pay more to get people to use their service. Now, if people got paid for being excellent spellers, we’d have a lot less idiots in the world.
