Why won’t it let me put my iPod videos on Windows Movie Maker?
Question by Hannah: Why won’t it let me put my iPod videos on Windows Movie Maker?
I have an iPod Touch 4th Generation. I recorded several videos myself on my iPod. I got the videos onto my computer and put them all in a completely separate file under My Documents. I wanted to put them onto Windows Movie Maker so I could edit them and put them together to make a video. I clicked import video, then on the file I put the videos in, but it showed there was nothing in the file. I tried this both with and without my iPod plugged into the computer. I think part of the reason is because they are supposed to be played through QuickTime player. Could anyone tell me either how to get them onto Windows Movie Maker, why they won’t go onto Window’s Movie Maker, or another movie making software that will allow QuickTime videos? Any or (preferably) all of these answers would be very helpful! Hopefully this was enough info for people who know how to do this to be able to tell me how. Thanks in advance 😀 10 points to best answer 🙂

The videos are incompatible with WMM to get them in to the program you need to convert the video, I use Format Factory
http://www.google.co.uk/m/url?client=safari&ei=fnpITYmdLcKPjQf0kpf_AQ&hl=en-gb&oe=UTF-8&q=http://www.formatoz.com/&ved=0CBIQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNHFcppE58ZYzyjvuH8AkklEkU1pSA
Once converted import it into WMM to view it on your iPod again you will need to convert it back to a viewable format.
