Windows Movie Maker Changing The Spot Of Audio While Making Movies?
Question by clipy_clop: Windows Movie Maker Changing The Spot Of Audio While Making Movies?
Ok, this is gonna sound really weird and confusing, so be prepared. While making a movie on WMM, I used video clips and a song. If I start from the beginning of the song, it plays normal. But, if i start from the middle of the song, it plays the lyrics which should be about 10 seconds back. Now, you may think this doesn’t really bother me, but it’s really hard to restart from the very begining of a song every time I want to add a video clip ;_;. Thanks!

WMM is not the most sophisticated editor, however, you should be able to do this.
Insert your audio track. Play the music and then pause it where you want the lyrics to start.
Then go to the Clip Menu and choose Set Start Trim Point.
The Clip Menu will have most of the tools you will need to get this correct, including nudge left and nudge right.
You can also drag the audio clip ends to clip it. (there are small black triangles on the ends of the clips. Just drag them for rough adjusting.
It is tricky to get it exactly right, since WMM is not a full fledged editor.
