feel the way humans do. Bored and longing for his old life, he makes a deal with Rumpelstilskin to get back to feeling like a real ogre again, vicious and somewhat feared and in isolation with his chosen friends. However, everything doesn’t go exactly as planned or as Shrek envisioned, since Rumpelstilskin twisted everything around. Shrek now lives in a distorted version of Far, Far Away, where Rumpelstilskin is king, ogres are hunted, and he had never met his princess wife Fiona. Regretting his earlier decision, he sets out to fix everything he has ruined. In doing so, the viewers are being entertained by the adventures and the misadventures of Shrek and his loyal companions.
