Q&A: Some good movie making software that I can buy or download?

Question by SwaggaLikeSongz: Some good movie making software that I can buy or download?
I always make DVDs and what not of family videos and everything, I use Windows Movie Maker which is rather basic and does not have that many features. I want to either buy if cheap or download for free a good movie making software like nero. Anybody have any ideas of good ones?

Oh and not nero because I already know all about it I’d like to read up on some other ones and pick out which is the best. thanks

stay w/ Windows Movie Maker. just make the file, have a DVD CD, and use Windows DVD maker to burn it. you can make a menu & everything!!!
