Business to Business Followup?
Question by Candace: Business to Business Followup?
I am trying to write a script for my company. This company sells high end fabrics – curtains, beddings, and fabrics in general. We are trying to get two follow up scripts together in order to have our marketing department call past customers that have not done business with us in a while. The first script is for those customers that have, in the past, done over $ 5000 worth of business with us but have not done business with us in over 6 months. The other script is for our other customers that have done good business with us in the past but who have not done so within the past few months.
What sort of introduction should I use? Further, how can I ask them why they have not done business with us without just asking them? Is it OK to ask them straight up? What other questions should be asked? Are there any good scripting services I could use that don’t cost huge amounts of money? All calls are business to business calls.
Please let me know if any further information is needed.

Call to check on their satisfaction with their purchase. Ask how they liked purchasing from you. Any suggestions for the future. Offer them a coupon in apprciation of answering the questions. Give them contact information if they ever need to call with a question.
