easy to use free video editing software?

Question by Dude: easy to use free video editing software?
im making a video for a contest so i can win some football tickets. i dont have editing software though. i dont need to do very much editing to the videos themselves, i just need to be able to piece things together. i tried using windows movie maker, but it wouldnt let me import any videos that i recorded. it said that i didnt install the codac or something like that. so what im asking is are there any free easy to use movie making software that i can download online? i mean, it has to be pretty easy to use, im not that good at making videos at all.

Wax 2.0 is a great functional video editing program but is a little complicated.

If you have windows 7, you willl need windows live movie maker for it to work, you may be able to use it with a lower windows if you need to. It’s just about like movie maker.
