Hello, I recently made my very own script 100% from scratch, and for the first time of my ‘career’ sold it. I very naively did not put any protection on it that would refrain buyers from sharing it, thinking that my buyers wouldn’t be idiotic enough to try it. Yet, one of them have and is currently reselling the script for cheaper on the web. What can I do to protect my script? I did not release it with a license of any sort, but I did put a copyright on every file with my name on it.
Also, I did a WHOIS search on the site on which my script is currently being illegally hosted, and they are swedish. So I do not think I can contact them to remove my script (since I only speak English and French).

That is terrible! I don’t really know how to act in a situation like that, but perhaps you can go to the police? They should be able to help you, even if the fact that the script lacks protection might complicate things. But you should definitely try to get help from them. You can show them your original script and if you have any documents from the buyers you tried to sell it to, etc.
You are sure that they are Swedish? In that case – almost everyone in Sweden speaks English as well, so there shouldn’t be a problem to contact them in English. If you still want to send them a letter/email in Swedish, I can help you translate it if you want (you can send me the letter in English and I’ll translate it for you). I can help you translate from Swedish to English too if there is some information that you don’t understand.
