Scripts are written code that does specific tasks. It’s just like us, we need energy to do things, the stronger we are, the faster we finish the tasks. Scripts also need the computer’s CPU cycles to complete its task(s). The more tasks that need to be done, the more time and CPU juice they need.
So, web pages with the more scripts of course will load slower than ones with less. A more powerful machine will definitely run these scripts faster than slower ones.
