Question by 4help: How and why did Lucas Lights& Magic move into movie making? Was it’s value being marginalized?
I am looking the business reasons what may have driven this result i.e from a “component” provider, lighting and animation experts, in the eyes of the film producers and now experts directly in the eyes of the consumers? Can this be a growth strategy for “specialized component” providers?

Actually industrial light and magic was specifically created to do star wars, Luces couldn´t find a company that could do the effects, so he created his own company…
