Question by phantomchick: Know any good books on how to write scripts and/or plays?
I’ve had this idea in my head for a play, but I usually only write short stories. Any help would be appreciated! I’m already a pretty good writer, I just need help putting my ideas in a script!

Read the Screenwriter’s Bible by David Trottier.

Read screenplays. Lots of screenplays. You can do this here;

Learn the Monomyth. You can do this by reading The Writers Journey by Chris Vogler, Hero With A Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell, and the legendary memo by Vogler that explained the Monomyth in the simplest of terms. You can read the memo here:
