Im trying to figure out how I can animate rain in a movie I want to make. I don’t want to use computer editing.

Hmm….seems like dripping resin or other clear, air-dry substance (ex:super glue, epoxy) on very thin thread to make “beads” which you can then hang and manipulate as needed. Hopefully a camera adjust would take care of the threads.
