Ok basically I have an idea for a TV show and I am currently writing my story. When I am finished writing my story I would like to make it into a TV show.
Now, considering I wouldn’t be able to afford paying people to be actors in my supposed TV show, I was thinking maybe my best option would be to use some kind of CGI/anime/animation software which would allow me to create my characters and environments, which would of course be cheaper than using real life camera crews and actors.
I know that there is software out there which let’s you make CGi/animated/anime movies but I am looking for one which let’s you easily create characters and environments and animation sequences. So my question to you is this: is there any software out there which is relatively easy to use and allows one to make a good looking movie/TV program?
What would be great is some kind of software which let’s you scan an image/photo and then automatically turn’s an image into a CGI image ready to edit and put into a movie – making it easy to create environments and animations.
Is there anything which you know of which exists which would be useful to me?

Maya and Poser. Though you might get somewhere by using an existing engine, such as Neverwinter Nights or Neverwinter Nights 2. Depends on the flavor of your ‘show’.
