Now my GTA IV folder is in Windows.old
I borrowed my install disk from a friend but he sold it so I don’t know what to do…
I know my game version is 1.0.0.0 though…

this happens because the game address is changed. do following steps to correct it.
first of all copy the game location then
1. open “run” from start then type regedit and then hit enter
2. navigate to HKEYS_LOCAL_MACHNE –> SOFTWARE –> Rockstar Games –> Grand Theft Auto IV
3. then double click on InstallFolder from right box and paste the location under Value data box.
