i am planning to buy a movie making program, can anyone tell me the difference between Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 and Song Vegas Pro? the pro is alot of money, so what effects can you use on it? what makes it so special? and are they easy to use?

please help!!

try out virtualdub its free and yes it lacks alot of the thrills of the sony products but its a start and you can find alot of youtube videos explaining how to use it and do different things
