Windows Movie Maker Windows 7?

Question by Wings: Windows Movie Maker Windows 7?
I love editing videos and have been editing using Windows Movie Maker 2.1 on XP for several years.
I have recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7
I did not like the new Windows Live Movie Maker so I followed some advice and downloaded Windows Movie Maker 2.6
The program works fine, but it’s effects are very limited, I have very basic effects and I am used to have 200+ I do not make over done effects videos but I rely on crop and zoom effects and transparency and blue screen transitions
I tried to download XP effects onto my laptop (from WMM forums) but it will not allow me to save in the program file, it says I am not authorized. I have seen other people say they cannot get the effects to work if they do manage to download it
How can I overcome this problem I bought a new laptop mainly so I could use it to edit videos, as my main computer is becomming old
Thank-you if you can help =)

Windows products are not my first choice; especially if you want options and “transparency”. Try Magix Movie Edit.
