Q&A: What’s a good video editing program for HD camera?

Question by conz84: What’s a good video editing program for HD camera?
I’m Looking for something with the basic style of the old windows movie maker, without the headaches.

Something simple but with plenty of tools for editing. Nothing you’d need tutorials in to learn how to use, but not so basic that it’s pretty much “upload your movies, tweek some settings, hit make movie and we make it for ya”.

Also could anybody tell me if adobe premiere is easy or difficult for a noob to just start making nice movies.

I use Movie Edit Pro, its about 50 bucks and it’s good.
