Question by Chris T: I’m making a stop-motion animation with movie maker, and there’s a part where a boat explodes in it.?
I videoed the boat falling and smashing to pieces, and now i need an explosion. I downloaded a flash explosion of the internet onto my pc, but i need to know if there’s any way of putting it on top of my video. I’d need to superimpose it onto the part of my video where the boat explodes, but i don’t know how. i know its possible, because i’ve seen a lego video on youtube where the same thing happens. Please help me! It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t use Movie Maker, ut it would help if it did.

You can use Flash (MX-8-CS3) to do this….Just layer the two animations on top of one another; create two layers– one where the first movie will play and one where the second one will play. Making sure to line up the actual explosion in the second video to the impact and subsequent breaking of the boat in the first video.
